Vannin Healthcare delivers turnkey hospital projects, the Greencube HIMSS Stage 7 electronic health record, and mobile clinics to ministries of health, hospital networks, and international organisations across more than 20 countries.
The Role
We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to grow Vannin's pipeline across priority international markets. You will identify, qualify, and progress opportunities with ministries of health, hospital groups, NGOs, and industry partners — taking them from first contact through to proposal, negotiation, and close.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a pipeline of Greencube, mobile clinic, and turnkey project opportunities across priority geographies.
- Identify, research, and engage senior decision-makers at ministries of health, hospital groups, and international organisations.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle from first contact through to signed contract — proposals, tender responses, negotiations, and close.
- Collaborate with clinical, product, and finance teams to structure compelling commercial proposals.
- Represent Vannin at industry events, conferences, and trade missions.
- Build long-term relationships with Export Credit Agency contacts and tier-one banks to support project financing structures.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM discipline.
- Contribute to market strategy, competitive analysis, and go-to-market planning.
Essential Requirements
- 7+ years of business development or enterprise sales experience in healthcare, medical devices, or healthcare infrastructure.
- Proven track record winning large-value government or hospital-group contracts internationally.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with complex deal structures.
- Excellent relationship-building and executive-communication skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%).
Desirable
- Experience selling into the Middle East, Africa, or Latin America.
- Familiarity with Export Credit Agency financing and ECA-backed deal structures.
- Working knowledge of Spanish, French, or Arabic.
- Existing network in the ministry-of-health / healthcare-infrastructure sector.
