Inside the hospital: capability and equipment

Each of the two units is a self-contained clinical environment. Below are the four capability areas, followed by the full per-unit equipment manifest.

[01]

Complete Self-Sufficiency

Self-contained · off-grid

Operates anywhere, relies on nothing. A self-contained clinical environment with no dependence on external infrastructure. Power, water, climate and medical gases are all generated and managed on board. Dual generators: a single generator alone can power a 100-bed hospital, with the second held in reserve for uninterrupted supply.  800-litre water tanks, emergency generators and batteries provide full redundancy.

[02]

Surgical & Critical-Care Capacity

2 operating rooms · 3 ICUs

Two operating rooms run simultaneously, supporting up to 12 surgeries per 24 hours under crisis conditions, in line with international standards. Three intensive-care units provide continuous critical-care capacity, fully monitored and ventilated. Dedicated X-ray room and material/equipment room.

[03]

Survivability & Protection

Blast-proof · chemical & nuclear

Engineered for extreme conditions. Blast-proof and able to survive bomb strikes. Each unit is prepared for chemical and nuclear threats: sealable compartments and state-of-the-art air filtration strip airborne chemical agents from the interior, while comprehensive lead lining shields against nuclear fallout and radiation. Built to stay fully operational where tents get damp, fail and have to be replaced.

[04]

Climate, Water & Medical-Gas Systems

Climate · water · medical gas

Integrated climate and water management hold the interior at clinical conditions regardless of the environment outside. A dedicated oxygen/air control room governs oxygen levels and air quality, while an integrated medical-gas system delivers oxygen, nitrous oxide and compressed air throughout the hospital.
