About Vannin Group

Vannin Group's Healthcare Division is building the operating system for modern healthcare. Greencube, our electronic health record, holds over fifteen million patient records across 300+ clinical sites: a unique dataset for generating clinical and operational insight at scale.

The Role

We are hiring two Data Scientists to unlock the value of Greencube's unique clinical dataset. You will turn data into insights, prototypes, and production features that support better clinical decisions and more efficient healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clinicians, product, and engineering to scope and solve high-value healthcare data problems.
  • Explore, prototype, and evaluate statistical and ML models for clinical and operational use cases.
  • Design and run robust experiments, A/B tests, and causal analyses.
  • Build clear, compelling visualisations and dashboards for internal and customer audiences.
  • Translate research findings into production-ready specifications for ML engineering.
  • Contribute to the development of Greencube's analytics, benchmarking, and reporting capabilities.
  • Maintain rigour in data quality, reproducibility, and documentation.

Essential Requirements

  • 4+ years of data science experience, ideally in a regulated or scientific industry.
  • Strong Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and SQL skills.
  • Solid grounding in statistics, experimental design, and causal inference.
  • Experience communicating complex analysis clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong curiosity, rigour, and pragmatism.

Desirable

  • Experience with healthcare data (EHR, claims, clinical research) or medical informatics.
  • Familiarity with modern ML (deep learning, NLP, foundation models).
  • Postgraduate degree in a quantitative field.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Metabase).

What We Offer

  • Access to a unique, high-volume clinical dataset and real impact on healthcare outcomes.
  • Competitive salary, bonus, and equity.
  • New York office at 30 Broad Street, Financial District, with hybrid working.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and generous paid time off.
  • Learning budget and conference attendance.
