Vannin Healthcare is building the operating system for modern healthcare. Greencube, our HIMSS Stage 7 electronic health record, holds over 8 million patient records across 300+ deployments — a unique dataset for generating clinical and operational insight at scale.

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Data Scientist to lead strategic data science projects across Greencube. You will work with clinical and product leadership to identify the most valuable data-driven opportunities, design rigorous studies, and mentor the wider data team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic data science initiatives from scoping through delivery.
• Partner with clinical, product, and engineering leadership to shape Greencube's analytics and AI roadmap.
• Design rigorous analyses, experimentation frameworks, and causal studies.
• Mentor and coach other data scientists and junior team members.
• Build the data science team's standards — coding, reproducibility, documentation, review.
• Represent Vannin's data work externally with customers, partners, and at industry conferences.
• Support regulatory-grade evidence generation and clinical safety analysis.

Essential Requirements

• 7+ years of data science experience, with meaningful time in a lead or senior role.
• Expert Python and SQL; deep statistical and ML foundations.
• Proven track record delivering strategic data science initiatives with business impact.
• Strong ability to communicate with executive and clinical audiences.
• Experience mentoring and growing data scientists.

Desirable

• Experience in healthcare, clinical research, or pharmaceuticals.
• Expertise in causal inference, survival analysis, or clinical trial design.
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Familiarity with MLOps and production ML.
