Four Hospitals and Counting: Gabon's National Rollout Continues

Gabon's national hospital digitalisation programme has passed its next milestones, with Greencube now live at the Hopital d'Instruction des Armees d'Akanda, the CHU Mere-Enfant Jeanne Ebori, and CHU Owendo.
Together with the Omar Bongo Ondimba military instruction hospital, which went live in September 2024, the programme now covers more than 480 beds across Gabon's leading public hospitals, with the Egypto-Gabonese and Sino-Gabonese cooperation hospitals and a network of community health centres in Libreville following through 2025.
The rollout pattern matters as much as the count. Each go-live lands on the same national record, so every new hospital multiplies the value of the ones before it: shared patient histories, comparable data, and one platform for the country's clinical workforce.
The Gabon programme sits at the heart of Greencube's HIMSS Stage 7 validation, the highest international measure of electronic medical record adoption.
