Gabon: Greencube's National Hospital Programme Begins

Greencube has gone live at the Hopital d'Instruction des Armees Omar Bongo Ondimba in Libreville, the 114-bed flagship military instruction hospital of Gabon, and the first site in a national hospital digitalisation programme.
The programme will bring Gabon's principal public hospitals onto a single national electronic health record: military instruction hospitals, university hospital centres, and a network of community health centres.
Most national digital health strategies remain documents. Gabon's is becoming infrastructure. A shared patient record across a country's leading hospitals changes what is possible in referrals, in supply management, in epidemiology, and in the simple question of whether a clinician can see a patient's history when it matters.
Further go-lives across the programme are scheduled through 2025.
